PART I: Moved from out of state, rented apartment at Bayou Oaks. Over phone, staff was cordial. spoke of the park with a pond not in Bayou Oaks. Signed a 6 month lease, during which time I would search for a suitable home to purchase . Apartment was unsuitable., (actually slept in the car a couple of nights?air quality was causing asthma attacks) . I stepped up my search for housing due to the conditions of the apartment. I found something quickly Built-in penalties for lease termination brought my 2 month stay in a dumpy old apartment to $2535 .. Now they want another $150 cleaning fee?Brandy clearly stated ?We don?t have a cleaning fee.? . My residency was cut short because the apartment quality was so far below the price I was being charged. These apartments are old and poorly maintained. The only reason they have had high occupancy is because of a shortage of apartments there That is rapidly changing. Who owns these anyway?

Unwelcoming, Unfriendly, Untruthful, Uncompassionate, Unaccommodating Complaints about air quality causing asthma attacks ignored. not honor statements made over phone. Manager makes no eye contact nor acknowledge you?re standing in front of her.Brandy insisted : ? We don?t have a cleaning fee. Response to Inquiry re handicapped parking -?You can?t have your own parking space.. They?re first come, first serve? Out: fenced patio has wood decaying, dirty, smells like regergitation, needs painting, doors unlit. Ins: not tenant ready,. awful smell, moldy,, leak mbr.. Cabinets gross. Poor air quality?asthma attacks.?had to sleep in my car on 2 nights. MAINT: sink leak on first use, air filter dirty, not fix leak or paint over During aflood, maintenance crews drinkon duty. lot floods regularly. Warning residents re flooded parking lot, not permitted. Brandy said ?If they are too stupid to drive into a flooded parking lot, that?s not my problem.? LAUND: leased out, not maintained?,disgusting
