taking a risk. first time we went was great- took a little longer than necessary to get our food, but we were w/another couple so we didnt mind- convo was good! I ordered the rizoto and prochuto wrapped scallops and they were really great!

second time was with me and my husband- date night. we expected romance and service......we got so so romance (good guitar singer) but bad service. I ordered the same thing as before and the rizoto was all wrong. to top it all off- prochuto wrapped scallops turned to bacon wrapped scallops- i know the difference people!!!

i had a friend who went one night as well and had a horrible experience- basically dont bring children- manager was so mad he was yelling from the kitchen (not at her- but loud enough 2 hear) b/c her 4 yr old dropped a butter knife!

A total madhouse. Terrible experience.

We made a reservation yet still had to wait almost 30mins for our table.

The food took forever to arrive at our table and seemed to be haphazardly thrown together.

To top things off we had to hear the manager or owner yelling curse words at his employees. It was clearly audible throughout the dining room. I am talking about the F word hollered repeatedly by the owner.

What an unprofessional joke of an atmosphere and restaurant. We paid our bill, walked out the door, and will NEVER go back....never.

Bella Figure. First, the atmosphere was extremely romantic and relaxing. Our service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and offered great suggestions. The food was phenomenal. We are going back tonight.

A Bad Experience Despite the Food.. There was a group of 5 of us who went to Bella's new location in River Ranch last night (7-19-07). We gave our order. It took 1 hour 20 minutes before our order came out, (Way, way too long) then I tell the waitress that the steak was not how I ordered it. I was so embarrassed when she was so physically obvious that she was angry at me for telling her this. My guest were embarrassed for me as well. I think Nicole you need to find another line of work. Although the steak was good, the behavior of the waitress made my experience at this new location very undesirable. She would be talking to a customer in great length at a table across from us and would stare at us and especially me. I will not be back. For those prices and atmosphere, this was not part of the bargain you would expect.

Good food; snooty service. I've visited Bella Figura a few times and always love the food. Everything I have tried has been wonderful from the appetizers to the pizza and pasta all the way to the dessert! The restaurant is very romantic and a wonderful place for a first date. The service however has always been on the snooty side. Everyone seems to be very full of themselves and they act like they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. We brought our kids with us one time and they seemed almost put out at having to "tolerate" them even though the kids were exceptionally well behaved. The service is what keeps us from going more often. The food is what brings us there when we go. Plan on making reservations as this place fills up fast on Friday and Saturday nights and especially on Valentines Day!!
