A little ole' country general store serving down-home foods and goods since 1969..
In Short
Originating in Lebanon Texas, this country store and restaurant has branched out all over the U.S. The décor includes old advertising signs, farm equipment, early kitchen appliances and photos which complement the country-style seating. Their menu includes home-style comfort foods like meatloaf and house-made mashed potatoes daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to stop into the gift shop for souvenirs and a variety of knick-knacks.

very disappointing.
Having eaten at several Cracker Barrels throughout the south, I expected the one on I-10 in Lafayette, LA to fit into the same ideas of food and service. I was wrong, both times I ate there. The food is the same quality, if you can get it while it is hot. On the second trip, the BLT salad was the same temperature as the pancakes. The service is terrible. No refils, no bread, no order taken quickly, food not hot and nothing was apologized for or replaced. Get the food to go, you'll be better off.
